- 4 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
- 4.1 The J/24 North American Championship is open to J/24 Class boats as defined by the IJCA class rules, and whose entries are accepted by the organizing authority.
- 4.2 Championship drivers must be either nationals or residents and members of the National J/24 Class Association of the country that they represent.
- 4.3 Eligible boats may enter by completing the registration form and submitting the requested information at http://www.yachtscoring.com and paying the required fee by 1159 hours onSeptember 27, 2026.
- 4.4 To be considered an entry in the event, a boat shall complete all registration requirements and pay all fees.
- 4.5 A Corinthian Division will be offered. To be considered for the Corinthian results, boats must have each member of the crew categorized by World Sailing as Group 1 by their categorization code. Competitors not categorized will be considered Group 3 and their boat will be scored in the overall results only.
- 4.6 Registration closes Monday, September 28 at 1159.
- 5 FEES
- 5.1
- Regular Fee: Completed entry form and entry fee received on or before July 31, 2026
- $750 plus HST $97.50 CAD
- Late Fee: Completed entry form and entry fee received on or after August 1st 2026.
- $850 plus HST $110.50 CAD
- Regular Fee: Completed entry form and entry fee received on or before July 31, 2026
- 5.2 As an incentive, the first 10 Early-Bird boats entering prior to 1159 hours March 31, 2026, will be assigned individual wet mooring slips free of charge and will be assigned Bow Numbers 1 through 10.
- 5.3 The entry fee includes inspection, launching, hauling, storage/mooring while at the event, racing, scheduled social functions for all crew and prizes.
- 5.4 If the event is cancelled or postponed by the OA, other than for reasons of weather, all fees less administration cost of $100 CAD, will be refunded.
- 5.5 Cancelations received prior to the regular fee deadline in NoR 5.1 are eligible for a full refund less a processing fee of $75 CAD. Cancellations received from that date onward, will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
